COM502 Assignment 2 – Reflection 1

In class, our team began conjuring up the reasons and ideas of an effective meeting.

We agreed that the environment of the meeting has to be held some where without distractions. This allows the members attending the meeting to fully focus on what’s being discussed.

We had our first official group meeting for assignment 2. We found an empty classroom which was perfect. The group consisted of me, William, Deja and Erica. We decided to record the first meeting whilst a little bit about ourselves and why we are studying IT. I think we were all a bit nervous, as we haven’t gotten to know each other well yet.

We ended the recording with a discussion of when would be the best time to hold meetings outside of class time. We all had our different responsibilities outside of our studies but came to the conclusion that we could set a date through the Facebook group chat to meet up and discuss the assignment.

Overall, I think we have started great. Every one seems to be comfortable with talking to each other and hopefully this proceeds through the second assignment.
